      Hallo kimbrian

Such a thing is truly indescribable The real Paul Emil (Heia Safari!) would turn in his grave. A small anecdote that concerns him and shows how a great nation (and his old soldiers ...) behaved. On the occasion of his death (1964), the German government decided to allocate a sum of money to his Ascari in Tanzania: a Temporary Cash Office was established in Mwanza, on Lake Victoria. Of the 350 elderly who showed up, only a handful of them could show the certificates issued to them by von Lettow in 1918. Others showed shreds of their old uniforms as evidence. The German banker responsible for the sum had an idea: at the presentation of each of the applicants, he saw himself delivering a broom. The veterans who still knew how to respond to the drill orders given in German were considered to be proven beneficiaries of the subsidy. None of them failed the test.

      Best regards

This is the quote to your link

I mentioned that anecdote because the seller of that garbage chose the evocative nickname Lettow-Vorbeck. This seemed to me a little too pretentious compared to the original character who was a type of man not inclined to joke at all ...

LW Generalleutnant in the smear. Great for a fried fish ... The setting reminds me a bakery after a T34 (some sort of collective transport vehicle for bad pagan boys) has passed over ...

The cap is denazified! However, one can still recognize the outlines and some seams. Condition see pictures, used with obvious signs of use, uncleaned, no guarantee and no return, it smells very musty

                Best regards
