You are bidding on n genuine World War Two pre01945 German green-piped Mountain Troops EM/NCO wool visor hat. Semi-coarse doeskin upper body. Green piped. Evidence of where the insignia had been placed (missing). Visor, chinstrap and buttons missing as well. It is a late war style with ersatz linen liner. The piping does not overlap at the ends, and the interior cloth is made up two different types of cloth as is correct. A nice honest cap that is well-worth restoration. It has appears to be Cryllic letters hand-written in the top. I found this at an estate sale today along with other German and Russian W.W. II items. No mothing or tracing. EXC.
