So if the label's fake the cap's fake and 'poor old Christian' has been stitched up again by his 'friends'. The story is always the same when you substitute 'Insignia' and 'tunic' for label and cap .... round and round it goes, over and over again.

As you know, there is (a lot) more where the one in the "Koch" hat came from:

I think that this thread should be exhumed for posterity. So, we have Koch, Amann & Schaub (last both with false insignias, just to clarify that my question was not an idle one). Koch and Amann were also regular Muller's customers.

I think there are going to be two prominent European collectors very dismayed to find out the Koch hat is fake, although one of them was probably already suspicious.

The collector who now owns it and the collector he bought it from I presume.

And also remember one had some resto work done by Benvk. The pair sold for 70K + and had tons of provenance with them. There can not be more than a small handful of legit White SS Visors that survived.
Are you referring to the black&white Bihler's ?

It appears the "Koch" visor has disappeared from the "Collector Connection":

Probably goes underground for awhile, to be sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Maybe in an auction.

                          Wouldn't doubt it.

Seems as if an equal phenomenality has presented itself with your discussion on the other forum - it has disappeared . . . or at the very least, has so from public view.

Some day, there will be someone that will come here, and want to know what a real one might look like. One can go here, for starters:

                              http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/showthread.php?t=647759

It was a rare opportunity to see this one come to light - and seems only proper to link that discussion to this one.
