and oddly enough, both mine and the Officer's cap are marked for September of 1941 but as you can see the stampings are entirely different.

what's everyone think of this smoke troops CW garrison cap?

once again we see the trend that both Bill Shea's and my cap have in common with this lining. ALL show this "railroad" or "zipper" pattern in the weave.
