    This was forwarded to me, and is from the collection of a davidsw of the GHW. This was probably a DLV visor at one time, and the officer period-upgraded when the new LW officer came out of the shadows:

          Leroy--
          All pebble-finished visor undersides are not fake. It is just that most LW jankes used the pebble-finished green underside for most of their caps.

              I did get one date wrong--Erel moved to the Heinrich Roller Str in April, 1939 (not 1938). As such, you should not see Heinrich-Roller Str addresses with a 1938 date on them--only 1939.
