I hope somebody more can let his opinion about my km sailor COBRA,I got a few opinions over these years at respect its authenticity, including the Stonemint,s one but im going to sell the cap to a friend and he needs to convince himself read more opinions than be possible.
Me and him know than with private purchase items as this,always will be difficult to get an only opinion but at last I try to join the most possible opinions and now if you never did before,please feel free to light this thread with your thought.

Thanks Chris for post these pics and so i wonder if mine is another variant stamping in silver with only one stitching row and different number of rays around the snake logo because I count them and my km sailor example if you count those rays around has the same number of them than on the cobra fakes than have logos in black,(9 rays on left side around the snake and 8 right side)and has one stitching row too as black fakes examples and those you posted as real ones have 2 stitching rows and 8 rays on each side around the snake logo and then you and others stay thinking than there is no problem with those differences and my km cap is real one but another version of logo but in silver????????:-(

I have been searching info about Cobra,s logos since 2007 when i owned my Km sailor one,all these years i have been checking every logo with that maker and i received a few opinions saying OK with that cap but a few weeks ago i just decided to compare my Cobra with all the rest cobras and i counted the numbers of rays around the Cobra snake and i counted the same numbers (9 right and 8 left)than in black fakes cobras and this thing i must share with you because this thing could be an important thing and may this key is an important point to share on WAF and finally do you think than Cobra had more label style and you have any text book or papers from then talking about it or have you seen any other example as mine in silver.....

Your cap is a KM enlisted cap and the others are all Heer Officer caps, so I would expect there to be differences (the caps are entirely different, why wouldn't the labels be?). Janke must have gotten hold of the type of font used in your cap which he used indiscriminately in his line of repros.

from where did janke get the original logo to fake it,from period papers or he own an original cobra cap to copy its logo

i got a new camera and then im posting more and better pics from this my km sailor cap(you can read description of the cap on this thread) that has been discussed over the years i got it and always is in controversial if us real cobra or not,may be new members want to give their opinion about it,onlly km-spain puts the hat on his hands years ago and his opinion you can read on this thread and another member called harrier who gave his opinion too,i remember STONEMINT opinion in another thread who saidossible real cobra logo in silver but this thread has been erased i think may be mew members in WAF want discuss about this hat.......


thanks to all for their opinion and i hope dont disturb with my question but will i know one day for sure if my hat is a fake or not or i will die with this doubt...

Yesterday Stonemint posted a new example of COBRA logo,it his thread:POST YOUR OBSCURE WARTIME MAKER LABEL,it is made in silver(first time I saw it) near as mine(Km sailor cap)but I can see again in the most 2 stitching rows and mine only one but what does it mean amd why fake logo in black use the same rows as mine(1)
I wonder why Janke used to copy one example as mine but in black including the same numbers of strokes around the logo(9 and 8 each side)if the most easy would be copy the most commons types with 2 stitching rows and the same number of strokes around on each side...............

Now than appears this visor with silver logo then years I opened this thread about my COBRA,has anybody any idea or theory about why used JANKE the same logo than my cap althought in black to make his fakes and why he didn,t use for such copies the most seen COBRAS logo with 2 stitching row as last example posted by Stonemint
I know than mine is not a visor and may be for such thing is different logo but any more imputs are welcome

Sorry 3781 viewers since I a few years ago when I open this thread about my COBRA sailor cap and only 3 gents posted their thoughts,for last try I will ask more comments about the COBRA difference beetween the last COBRA logo in silver posted by STONEMINT from a visor cap and mine,and why would use JANKE the same logo than mine for fakes but in black and why did he not use the most common logo seen on visors for his fakes?anyone who comment among such number of viewers or I own the most strange cap in the world and imposible say anything....
