    TR Visors in Film/TV--Post 'em!

Following up on the (still) wildly successful Hogan's Heroes thread, why not review visors in film and TV--the good, the bad and the just plain ugly.

Here is Conrad Veidt's LW from Casablanca--notice the similarity to another wreath from a TV show?

Omar Sharif in Night of the Generals--not bad for 1968--looks like an early Janke:

"Des Teufels General" has some cracking uniforms, (plus the amazing vinyl record making from hot wax SD spying scene.

Link to you tube clip well worth a look

I don't know why I like it so much, but this is still one of my most favorite movies to date - I find myself going back and watching it over again at least once a year . . .

O'Toole is such a brilliant actor - maybe that is why? You have to admit - this was one of his best performances! Who else could have pulled it off so well?

Of course, The young lions - Brando had very, very good repro of tunic and cap (nice eagle) - or mayby had original tunic and visor ???

This picture/scene with O'toole i(n cabrio) was made in Warsaw.
