    The "HEAVYWEIGHT" Fakes

I call this series of fakes "the heavyweights" because they are over-padded, which caused the peak stiffener to weaken and lean forward.
We have talked about these before, but if you check the GDC SS Uniforms forum, these is some guy named Petsamo who got burned on these, so they bear reviewing again.
Almost all are high end political/SS, and white-tops. This is your typical Muller fake of this series:

This is listed as a fake on Manions right now, but it is up to $500+ right now, so you know we will be seeing it on ebay as a real one in the very near future:

A lot of these use a brushed-cotton on the band instead of velvet.

All the interior logos for the NSDAP and HJ visors of this series use this fantasy logo:

(To quote the noted Schirmmutzen philosopher NTZ once again, "If it's got the bird, give it the bird")--and believe me, there was a whole row of these at the SOS being sold as originals:

I first recall these popping up in the 80s, and always thought Diebel made them--they are not Jankes or Altestes, and will still fool 90% of collectors.

                        This was their best work--the A-SS NCO's:

These all have the same S/B attachment--looks like a Janke, but it isn't--there is no reed or schnur in it:

In hand you will never forget these. It is like holding a brick they are so over padded. If you put one in your hands you can’t even hold it straight the front is so top heavy. One more thing to note. The shields are cello.
