Hello, I am new to this site, and have posted 2 or 3 times on other forums in my lifetime. I have been a collector for many years. Over the past 15 years, I only buy what I consider a no brainer as far as being authentic or not, if it is questionable I just move on. But I have accumulated 8 SS buckles when buying small collections all but one I bought assuming they were reproductions, (I now question the one I thought was good) by going through the old posts on this site I have picked out 3 that I now know are reproductions, would it be rude of me to post 5 SS buckles and see if I can get your ideas on them. My main interest is daggers, helmets and tinnies, I have many buckles and I feel they are all good, it is just these SS buckles that I am stuck on.

Ss 155/39
I thought that it might be a little assuming of me to just post 5 buckles at once.
Do I need to keep all 5 buckles on the same thread or divide it up?
When posting is the idea to save space ?
I would like to thank all or anyone who responds with information that i can use. The first buckle is markled 155/39, I have seen some good ones in this forum and some bad ones. It does have the rounded 9Attached Files

SS RZM 822/38 front view
This is the one that I bought and thought it might be good, I gave up buying these when you could no longer assume that a aluminum version of the SS buckles were automatically good. I know it was a few years back. And the more I looked on this forum and other websites and forums the less I liked this buckle. I hope I am wrong.

Both aluminum are original. The Assmann 155/39 is the Type 1, the most common of two Types known. The 822/38 is one of a group of 3 (you are indeed correct) and the most desirable of this group since the one with large numbers. The steel is a poor fake.Jean Pierre Redeuilh

SS O & C Front
I want to thank you all so much for your help. I have 2 more and I think they are fakes too. But the O & C that stasts in this post is about as high detailed as I have seen, the wreath and the feathering of the wings, I know this means nothing.
Thanks, I am happy if 2 of the 5 are good.Attached Files
