Hello It's a 6 part documentary on the Military channel. It's well worth watching. It did say the SA took revenge on the SS after the knight of the long knives. The show starts off saying they used captured SS documents to create the series. Kirby

        Hi Kirby and All,
        This post is without joking
Of course I cannot positively comment since I wasn't there. But seems very odd to me. If I was in the SA and had the chance to survive to the Night of the Long knives I guess I would have kept a very low profile for at least few years. 1935 to 1937 saw a huge increase in SS power and 200 officers is a very high number. Even Jews were not able to get as many after war. Unfortunately it seems to be a common trend to legitimate many inputs as "documents based". Can we recall foolproof documents for "Weapons of Mass Destruction" in Irak?
