      I like the pictures, please post more of the vehicle after restoration.

      glad to help on that serial number/date.....it is a bit of a guess but it is def 44 not 45

      are you doing the work all yourself or are eyou getting help. Did it need much welding?

      mine needed lots of welding at the front end and at the back near the idler wheel

      good fun to drive when finished.

        looks like original wartime engine as well

        Schwimmwagen is another good project

        I have a 44 Kubel under restoration

        some pictures over on vw166.com forum

        you might like to post your kettenkrad and schwimmer pics over there as well, really nice bunch on that site
