    Hello Valentin,

I'm sorry but it has been imposible to find some good period picture of the box in use. It was not used in panzers IMO but in light SpähWagen eg. Sdkfz 222. I have a foto from 'AFV Interiors' showing the attachements to hold these gurtkasten in the Littlefield Collection SdKfz 222 (sorry for using this pics, only for educational purpose, if owner doens't like it I would ask moderator to remove them): As you can see, they lacked the gurtkasten and ammo belt is hanging. In the left of photos there are 3 attachements for gurtkasten.

It must be noted that these gurtkasten were used once the 'patronentrommel 34' was withdrawn from service in the 'spähwagen' , as prior to that moment the MG13 and the early MG34 with patronentrommel 34 were used:

To check the pressure in the Kwk I think, for maintenance. I've got it in a manual but haven't read it yet. Seems every tank had one.

                          Hello Stéphane,

                          You've got 2!! different models.

Here is a pic of the pressure gauge box for Panzers and Stugs. They used them to check the fluid pressure of the Kwk brakes.

Is it German WW2? Is it marked in any way?
My gut instinct tells me it is post WW2.
