Originally posted by Matthew View PostYes, it is. Believe or not I have a loose rosette I picked up a while back so it will be a chance to match them together.

That's incredible Matt. Hard to believe a rosette went awol and survived the years without the metal eagle.

The show was so-so in a way of finding decent stuff but as usual meeting with friends was awesome and made up for it. Making few new ones was also great. Other than that- tons of fakes, silly prices (one guy had an Egendorf pin priced at $1550- "cuz ya know, its a rare one. and silver too so make me an offer but be realistic").
There were few political diamonds in the the sea of fakes, even some one of a kind items changed hands. It was good education re: new, high end fakes (if I was into silver Gahr SS stickpins I would be somewhat uneasy, same with Spanish Division medals in zinc, fire crosses, luftschutz medals plus few others).
All in all I enjoyed it very much and got back with few trinkets.
cheers
