Now, is the Gau Thuringen badge silver or bronze?

I really like the cased table medal Matt. I've thought about starting to collect some of those to display next to the event badge and postcard. Regarding the bronze Gau Thüringen, does anyone know what the range of numbers is on those? As I recall, I don't think I've seen any below 1000.

The story of those found with packets is that the vet walked into one of the shows and sold them to W.Stump. The ones found individually show some degrees of being used/worn. This one I just got shows wear on the pin/high spots as well as dirt/patina.

Thanks Matt. Much wider range than I thought. I suppose a search on WAF probably would have answered that question for me. Has anyone ever determined their purpose? Is there any theory that they might have been a secondary issue (such as the second pattern BO or the Honor GPB) for those loyal and faithful members who might not have met the criteria of the known silver Ehrenzeichen?
