I guess most collectors in the states don't have them anymore !!! I know they are rare but I didn't think there were fewer than 10 in the world ! You would think more people would be willing to show them off !!!!

This Great cross without swords of 1939 is owned by my friend Jaumà but not user militaria forums and therefore does not display your large collection of Order of the German Eagle.

Germany Stoped Sending out Eagle Orders

The last type of Eagle Orders were on December 27 1943. The 1st class Order with its 8 pointed Star is the rarest .
Does anyone know when Germany Stopped awarding this medal out to its allies???
Was there a message sent out that they know longer could award their Eagle Orders because of the war ???

What was the date of the last known awards received ???

Has anyone ever seen a breast badge that is marked only "800" on the reverse pin? Are these eagles even a Godet pattern?

William, this is not the 1937 design, nor the post-37 design and I haven't got a clue. Perhaps the remnats from yet another fire site?
