Yes, Erich is correct. I made a mistake. Was there a bronze or silver 1931 version?

The Braunschweig 1931 existed only in 2 silver types (the first was the real meeting badge in silvered iron).

Thanks. I guess you meant the round thin stamped type; and later on the oval version. Both were in silver / silver-wash.

hi. As you argue, the bronze and buntmetall hollow Braunschweig plates may not be original?
The one I have now is the second type silver cupal model. But before I had the tan horizontal pin hollow that I sold.

          Regards.

That's the second type which was the honor badge. The first type has a more round shape and the metal is thinner.

Actually the 33 started as an honor badge but was later delegated to tradition status where it remained.

                  Hi.
The first model I do not have, but I have found 3 examples that, although worn and some silver and others bronze (I wonder why the color difference), are in decent condition.by the way, the last one says that it is zinc. And another thing, is it normal that they didn't have any type of marking on the back?... Which of these 3 do you like the most?

                  Many regards, comrades.

                  M.

I like the first two 1st pattern badges.

My understanding on the 1st pattern badge is the originals had indented lettering and the ones with raised lettering are repros.

I would concur with ErichS and the ones I like are the first two with the recessed lettering. They were never marked and were a very early form of tinnie.

                          Hi.
curiously the model you don't like is made of zinc ...
I understand that the models with letters the LOW RELIEF are the reliable ones.

                          Thanks and best regards.

Personally, I prefer the example with raised lettering, which is the style carried forward with both of the ensuing oval-shaped designs -- the hollow-stamped and the solid variety. I would think that if the original design had one style of lettering, the designs which followed that design would carry that idea forward. Just my opinion, of course!

It is possible that this is the case and that copy of the first zinc model of the 1931 Brunswick concentration was also original. I intuit that it can be perfectly and those reasons in relief would later give rise to the oval ones that were the ones that became an official political award in the party's seniority.

No one knows. Perhaps just a guess. The one with the relief (pressed lettering) has been shown in period photos.
