Nice originals Doug. The plaque with holes was most likely attached to a wood base.

I am happy to post mine up here too as it has been given a clean bill of health.
Although I did think it was Gold originally. My fault really, but nothing to compare it to to see it was bronze. I saw too much bright gold in the lettering of the maker mark.
Front views of my late fathers ReichsParteiTag.
I'm glad I have this piece as it is so rare.
Hope you enjoy & thank you.

Hi.
Just a few questions, if this Rally, as it is said here, was the most crowded of all and the most people attended, why is this badge the most expensive and the rarest to get of all the Nürnberg ReichParteiTag badges?
and why there were 3 categories, bronze, silver and gold. And furthermore, by what kind of delivery criteria were these different classes?
Thank you all.

It was the largest rally "to date", that is, the 1929 rally attracted the most attendees up to that point. Subsequent RPTs (in 1933 and after) had larger attendance and therefore larger numbers of badges sold.
If you mean the non-portable plaques being bronze, silver, and gold, I don't believe anyone has discovered documentation of the purpose of the plaques or grade distinctions.
