      Matthew,
It must have been the silver Streicher badge I was thinking of.

        gold non portable

Thank God as I am trying to close a deal for a gold one and then read the above. It is a blank one with no dedication. If someone with a position that Streicher held got a silver one then I assume the gold ones must be quite rare indeed.
Any more gold speciments out there?
        cheers
        Matt

It was either 3200 or 3400E plus commission so around 4k Euro which is peanuts for what it is. Time machine anyone?
            cheers

Wonderful thread!.....great to see Davids 29 rpt original case in silver! also Erichs 35 rpt medal in gold which belonged to Hitler.....have to check my files, have the original MOHAWK ARMS HURRICARD folder featuring the Winter collection. in there they were accepting offers for the entire collection!...the Hess piece is a stunner!

I had the opportunity to tour the interior of the Zeppelintribüne grandstand at the Zeppelinfeld in Nürnberg last year and came across this poster for the 1929 Parteitag. Too bad it has gotten water damaged.

                        Enjoy!

Picked this picture and badge belonging to the same guy. Sad it has water damaged, a solid backed type.

That's a great piece, Jon! Sad to see the damage, though the attribution to Auwi, the "Brown Prince," makes it much more important than an anonymous piece in the same poor condition. How was this attribution established? Were there other artifacts from Prince August Wilhelm von Hohenzollern's estate available at the same time?

                              Again, an historic artifact!

                                Hi Br James,
Fantastic, thanks for the information. I will be honest and say I did not recognise this gent and certainly neither had the seller. The items came together from a small dealer, whilst his English was not good and my German similar I took it to understand these were a flea market find together. One will never know the story back to 45 or ever be able to prove the badge belonged to him but the way I bought it there would be no reason the this story to be made up, not financial anyway.
