I don’t buy for profit, if your not spending disposable income then don’t spend it. This isn’t a hobby for profit guys.
    Agree and well said Jon.

This possibly is the most important BO out there so there is deep pockets for pieces like these.

      Hi,

finally i'm able to upload the picture of the live sale.

By the way most of the British medals had very high hammer prices as far as i saw...

      See You

And people say collecting is in crisis. Looks pretty healthy to me.

Congrats to the new owner. Does anyone know who he is?

I understand the medal will be staying in England. But c’mon guys let’s respect the buyers choice to anonymity 👍

Very pleased for the buyer and the vendor.

The sale overall did very very well with 97.5% of the 450 odd lots sold.

                    Cheers, Ade.

Unlucky Jon. Can’t think of a more deserving collection for this to go to than yours.

That said, the blatant advertising of items on the auction house (7 alone in the British forum) including direct links to the items for sale and the running commentary of the prices to whip up a bidding frenzy, leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

                          Hi,

hmmm i don't think that the other bidders were on the WAF, even more for a such incredible item as Graf's BO, and i noticed that some ultra rare items went quite cheap despite the promotion on the WAF. I almost bidded on one of them (thanks to one of Adrian's posts), but the Summer is not over yet, so it will be for the next time.
