You will not see many come up even as repros they are hard to obtain.

I was lucky to find mine when I did. For what I paid I still think I got a good deal, despite one arriving broken, it was repaired easily enough with glue

My set are... I think... as they are made out of bad metal. I think originals would be cast bronze examples. I think that set on the marble plinths were also modern replicas, as they are identical to mine. Bronze painted with a gold wash.

The H.H. versions are quite ugly, but interesting to see the variation with the drapes. Thanks for posting these.

I think you are quite correct, however a gold wash on bronze would be quite pointless...more lokely its spelter, given that bronze is, of course beautiful as is. cold painted bronze is the only exception as far as I know.

I bought this pair at auction about 5 years ago for, I think about £100, and had the local Golf Trophy shop put them on mable bases with the names, another £20!

Nice set, Wessel. I am surprised that these are not that common, given the fact that they were the main adornment to the Reichskanzlei.

Forgive me for going off the precise topic, but in the same auction I got this SA Reiter, which I think is probably period as opposed to the Breker which are clearly post war.

Very nice, wessel! This piece has the deep glow of solid bronze as opposed to the bronzed finish added to white metal castings. May we see some more pix please?

Are they common today? (I had never seen them before this).

What are they retailed for today?
Very interesting items. Per Stonemint's question: Were these sold to the public? Much like a tourist to New York would buy a Statue of Liberty Just wondering if many of these were produced before 45? Wouldn't mind having even a repro set of these.

I agree--if repros, even the repros are rare!

                                Br. James...some more images.
On the underneath is a crown motif, and the word 'Germany'. I think it is period TR, but maybe for export?
                                Heavy bronze.
There are no swastikas on the arm band, belt or cap eagle.
