Wonderful cards, Bertastan -- many thanks for sharing them with us! Also interesting to see the different ways this beer hall spelled it's name; we often see it spelled "Bürgerbräukeller," but apparently it could also be spelled "Bürger Bräu Keller" or "Bürger-Bräu-Keller." Apparently, at least in this case, punctuation and spacing are not as specific in German as they are in English!

      Many thanks again!

Here's an interesting photo showing steins of "WWII Red Cross Girls w/ Hitler Family Tree from Bürgerbräukeller Beer Hall".
I wonder what those pins are in the "riker mounts"!

Surprised the allies didn't make a special point to blast it to smithereens with HE, looks very intact.

How long did it survive after the occupation, anyone know ?

                It was demolished in 1979.

Thanks for that, Hilton -- I wasn't certain of the date when the Bürgerbräukeller was demolished, but I believe it's been the site of the Hilton 'München City' Hotel ever since then.

                  Any relation, Hilton?!?!

                  Cheers,

Of the 3 steins Bob is showing, im pretty sure the right one with the 0.5l is a modern stein.

Usually the originals steins are still available and sell for 30-50€

The makers mark is of "Merkelbach & Wick"
