HJ-Obergebietsführer Emil Klein's NSDAP / GPB number was 47014. Does anyone know the NSDAP number of Georg Rosenbauer?

After reading a short bio on Klein, it is interesting to note that he lived until 2010 which is quite amazing! Don't know if he was ever interviewed but can you imagine the wealth of first hand knowledge he would have regarding the Battle of Coburg and the Putsch?

Welcome to the CB club Jon and congrats on a nice 1st pattern badge! Don't you think that Blood Orders, Coburg Badges and GPBs go nicely together ?

Welcome to the Coburg club, Jon.
We did reserve a seat for you - well deserved. How about a photo of the reverse please?

Is there a story of your Coburg acquisition or the badge itself? Any traceable badge holder, Jon?

Once again, heartiest congratulations. Coburgs are getting more recognition and prices are just up.

For many years, political awards were the red haired step children of militaria collecting so it's good to see that they are finally getting the recognition that they deserve.

                            Funny description Erich

How about this cool tinnie, goes well with the theme at a fraction of the cost! I have acquired this spare one that I may put on e-stand....

                              Jon,

Note that this tinnie says "Hitler in Coburg" and not "Mit Hitler in Coburg". These tinnies were available during the award ceremonies of the Coburg badge and were worn mostly by those who were not awarded the CB. A nice companion piece from the 1932 event.

From an earlier post, the old guy on the far right looks to be wearing the tinnie.
