    Erich, That is superb!!!

The cut in the pummel is one of the things I look for when looking at a badge. I'm yet to see an original without it.

Thanks Jim, anything to do with the Battle of Coburg is hard to find, even the tinnies!

Threads like this expose many collectors who don't know a lot about the Coburg Badge to it's historical significance. As more info and gropings are found it's mystic grows.

I want to thank member Tom for parting with this very rare poster and it now has a new home!

Thanks Jon, from research that I have done, this event in 1941 never took place due to the war. These posters were to be given to the Alte Garde who were to attend. From what I understand there are not many more than 1 or 2 copies of this poster still around.

Here's an interesting plaque posted on another forum from the same event as the poster.

After a little dealing I was able to add this very rare little plate along with the poster to my Coburg collection.

Thanks Erich, I really had to add these two very rare pieces to my collection because I would never see them offered again.

Tom, I would have to take a second mortgage on my house to get the remaing items.
