    Hello,

there exists a pic of Martin Mutschmann in civilian clothes wearing the mini at the lapel of his suit. I think it´s in a Forman book.

    Will search for it tomorrow.

    Best Regards

Thanks Max, and that's the one I found in studio portrait

        The smoking gun.
Under 20x magnification I can see the shadow of the flaws on the badge in wear.
Hey Mill, your Coburg collection is missing one of these, another 'need' item.
So we know of 3 of these existing in collections, any more out there?

Of course, Jon - there will be more out there! ; )
Have to say that the photograph is stunning, capturing the mini stickpin in wear perfectly.

A super pic Jon and the first that I have seen the stick pin in wear. Unfortunately my collection also lacks one of these gems.

Not sure I agree with Marty Mutschmann's choice of neckware, though...?!

                  Hi,

Has anyone spotted any Coburg Badges or associated memorabilia at the recent SOS?

                  Thanks.

                  Regards,
                  Mil

I was told that there was one being offered in a forthcoming auction, that's all.
But how about the rest of the guys, any stories of a CB changing hands under the table?

I heard of and saw no Coburg badges at the show. I bought some wonderful political items which I will post later, when I get back home. I am visiting the children and grandchildren until the end of the week.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

                            Good taste in antiques

That is one sharp looking piece. Your Gau line-up is growing at astonishing pace with the best pieces the market has to offer. Congratulations!

                            cheers

I heard that there was a 1st pattern CB on the Hermann Historica tables that must be coming up for auction soon.

Bob, a super badge and congrats!

Mil , these are badges not crack cocaine or otherwise! Either items sell at shows on the table or collector to collector or dealer to collector, pre arranged. You are making it sound a lot more alluring than it actually is!
