Erich, that looks like Alfred Rosenberg to me. Looks more like an intellectual than a guy like Ludecke who went at the crowd. This is a Rosenberg photo from from the net.

And the more I look at that picture in Das Braune Heer, I am struck by that figure on the right. I am sure that Hoffmann added that face to conceal someone. It is uncomfortable to see the oversized face staring in a direction at right angle to everyone else.

I agree that #2 in the last photo is Rosenberg. If I remember correctly -- which isn't always the case! -- I believe he had been identified as Rosenberg in the original discussion of this photo.

I also notice the oddly-positioned face of the person at the far left of the photo and I seem to recall that that was also discussed previously...?

Very interesting, but perhaps better seen with the Putsch/Feldherrnhalle thread? I loved the view of the man wearing the BO, GPB and 9.11.33 Festabzeichen. Did anyone note the time it appeared in the movie. It appears at 4:21.

Quite a slice of history there, Jon! Did you notice the camera panning around the Königsplatz passed in front of someone's Traditions Brown Shirt who was wearing the BO, CB and the GPB?

Cool video Jon and it makes me happy that I collect the political stuff!

I may have posted this well known photo of Grimminger before but I think that it's worth another look due to the fact that he's wearing the 3 most important political awards.

Ulrich sold his GPB small a few years ago and Craig Gottlieb his large one recently. Came from a French collection I believe?

Thanks for reminding us of that photo, Erich. Looking closely at the Blood Banner...which I assume he's holding...there seems to be a section of needlework repair just below the white disc. A great detail!

Here is a not often seen Coburg item that I just added to my collection. It's a Christmas greeting card from the Kreisleiter of Coburg dated 1940.
