More importantly, the style and quality of workmanship gives me confidence that this is a good piece but for what use, we can only assume.

Mike, does it have any markings?

Eujin, It has no maker marks on the reverse. Another thing that makes me think that it might have been use for the crash helmet: Looking from the side, it's vaulted, which most crash helmet eagles are.

NSKK stick pin with gilt finish. Used by Motorboat personnel. Needle has a nice spiral to it.

Reverse: RZM mark and M1/ 36 which I believe is the firm of Berg & Nolte.

              Hello,
Other than a couple of NSKK pennants like those already shown I only have this one plaque.

Wehrpass, Arbeitsbuch and Driving Permit for a man who was transferred FROM the Wehrmacht to the NSKK, was permitted to drive a "Holzgas" which was a late war wood burning engine (probably a delivery driver)

Here's a nice printed pennant that I found at the SOS.

Close up of the eagle. I like the extra details that this one has. Notice how the wings don't extend out of the circle much.

                      Regards, Mike

Thanks Bryant! Hopefully this is just the beginning of the NSKK collecting for headgear.
