Nice picture Gran! Probably a tank for training purposes. Check out Angolia's NSKK book page 15. A nice shot of tracked vehicle training in action.

Here's another large NSKK eagle that would seem to be for the crash helmet. The reverse has long prongs and one washer is still present. Maybe this is a 3rd pattern that was used. Not sure. Eujin posted a photo(which has since been removed) of an NSKK man wearing just such an eagle on the crash helmet. We need more opinions on this....

Reverse with long prongs and washer. If it didn't have the long pins, I would think that it's just another awards plaque eagle.

                Mike,

I can only assume that this (above) was mounted onto a car radiator, or possibly on a fender poletop?
DRGM is something like a copyright mark preceding the RZM - GES GESCH.

Mike, That's an outstanding piece (above) that you have.

And as for this, i think highly likely it would be for the crash helmet fixture due to the long pins and the presence of the washer to firmly secure it. I don't have any pictorial evidence to back this, and is purely an opinion. More importantly, the style and quality of workmanship gives me confidence that this is a good piece but for what use, we can only assume.

Mike, does it have any markings?

I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I want to show this recent catch of Milano show.
