    Hi

I do not think that I have ever read a thread where my jaw kept dropping a few more centimetres with every new photograph posted on this thread.

It is a truly remarkable grouping and it is unusual for a fellow collectors to share images of treasures, so thank you Bob.

Is this the most incredible grouping ever posted on this forum? I would say so

    Raymond

Bob, please, don't let those insults prevent us from seeing your wonderful items. Photographs be damm, I think the content far outweighs the quality of the photo.

        Geli & Emil letter

for what it's worth, here's a link to an excerpt from a supposed letter from Geli to Emil in 1928. http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/GERmaurice.htm

an additional uncorroborated reference to EM is mentioned in The Bunker: The History of the Reich Chancellery Group by James Preston O'Donnell
where it quotes Hitler's valet Heinz Linze as saying that in the bunker only AH's mom and EM's photo's were displayed on Hitler's bedroom dresser. There's some other questionable references in the book so I would think the best way to confirm this quote is to find Linze memoirs and see if they are replicated there.
O'Donnell's reference can be found at the bottom of page 227 and top of 228 on book title link.

With no malice to anyone, I'll say it's in our advantage that Bob is not a world-class photographer. He is gracious enough to share some of the rarest TR stuff you'll ever hope to see, but the quality of the photos will leave the fakers plenty of room to make mistakes, and NOT pick out the fine details they get when we post hi-res pix of high $$$ stuff.

Bob - take any pics you want. We all enjoy them. I don't think Greg really meant to insult you.

            with greatest respect to both,
            Hank

EDIT: couldn't resist this: Bob, you can make fun of Greg's spelling! ;o)

                  LOLOLOL...

                  I love it.

No really Bob we have talked about this before and your photos suck......................... Come on guys most of Bob's photos of collar tabs/uniforms/badges/ etc..etc... are fuzzy!!!!!!!!!!! they suck! LOL... I know about the faker thing but you can find photos of what he has, or others (high end items) on other sites/forums/books and so on, so the faker thing is not a excuse anymore. Collectors are wanting providence and detailed inspections, like forums/collectors/experts to pass anything nowadays. The fakers will make it if they want no matter what, it's the cost factor that keeps fakers from doing it thought. so PLEASE BOB CLEANER PHOTOS ON THE "NOT SO HIGH END ITEMS"

Bob what else you got hidden????

I'd rather see some blurry photos of this fantactic stuff rather than outstanding photos of some of the fake trash posted.

                    Just my two cents...Tom

This grouping really makes our Hobby come alive. This collection speaks to everybody that collects TR. It just encompasses everything that Collecting TR suff is all about. Thank you so much for sharing this grouping with us and for making my day. Butch

If the new thread is half as good as this one it will well be worth waiting for. This has been one of the best, ever.
