Is that a wartime pic of Paulitsch? He appears to be wearing the EK2 ribbon in his button hole (and low)>

There is an inscription on the back that reads

        Lieber Vati ! 21.3.1942

Das bist du mein Lieber Vati

        Linde or Linole?

Perhaps some member of the Forum could translate?
        Regards,
        John.

Hmmm, I don't get much out of it other than a note to his sweetie. A photo he gave to a Vati?

All I can say is "WOW"

Been away for a few weeks and missed this one when I signed on yesterday, some how.

I bet your PM box is smoking.

                    Excellent material, I love it.

                    Best Wishes,

                    Marcus

                      Marcus,

Glad to have you back. Yes, it is a "WOW" set.

For info, out of the known SiPo dienstausweis in private collections the 1944 issue type is the most commonly seen (I use the term "common" loosely!!). The example shown is a Kripo issue Type "A" which also appears to be the most commonly found.

"Wien" is the second most seen duty station, all of which happen to be Kripo issue. The "Wien" duty station also has the highest number of examples that are complete with matching discs.

Interestingly, this one lacks an extension validation stamp which is usually found on these 1944 issued cards.

Very nice items! Congratulation to you!

                        Here you have my translation:
                        ****

                        "Dear Dad ! 21. march 1942

                        That's you my dear dad"

                        (Name?)

                        *****

"Vati" is short for "vater" (Like dad vs. father)

                        Regards, Magnus

                              Good morning.
                              Any thoughts on this one?
Can one identify the holder via the SN?

Wow, last time I recorded that number it was located in Arizona. You have it now in Israel Huddyhuddy, or did you find the images on line? Quite a well WORN example. There is no known complete list of Dienstmarken (Gestapo, Kripo and GemKripo) numbers with recipients.
