Glad to have you back. Yes, it is a "WOW" set.
For info, out of the known SiPo dienstausweis in private collections the 1944 issue type is the most commonly seen (I use the term "common" loosely!!). The example shown is a Kripo issue Type "A" which also appears to be the most commonly found.
"Wien" is the second most seen duty station, all of which happen to be Kripo issue. The "Wien" duty station also has the highest number of examples that are complete with matching discs.
Interestingly, this one lacks an extension validation stamp which is usually found on these 1944 issued cards.Last edited by SiPo; 09-21-2009, 11:59 PM.
