          Bill,

I have no problems with 1942 dated caps,i have a single button winter cap as well as a double button both dated 1942-there is published information regarding these in Agnolia and littlejohns "labor organizations of the Reich" as well as a dated photo showing one in wear in a 1942. can you post a link to that discussion on the other forum so i can take a look?great caps pascal if you have time id like to see some close ups of the officers sidecap.(liner and insignia)

                    Hi Yancey,

The thread I mentioned was in the Axis History Forum. Here is the link: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic.php?t=54450. When I first posted to your thread here I didn't get any responses relative to my question about the 1942 date, although other responses came in regarding RAD headgear. I then posted a similar thread in the cloth headgear forum, figuring that was the more appropriate place to put it but not wanting to move it out of your thread in case a RAD collector, who might not ordinarily visit the cloth headgear forum, saw it on your thread and offered comment or info. I have the Angolia/Littlejohn reference . . outstanding in my opinon for TR labor orgs!!!!!

                        Yancy,

I just checked the photo and it is not dated. This photo is from a large grouping of photos from the same man (about 400 pics in the lot) and this is the only image in the lot with this style of headgear in wear.
