        wrecked T-34

Not sure if this is the correct thread for this photo. This photo was already colorized when I got it. Could it be possible that the photographer used color film for this shot?

It looks like it was colored by crayons
This tank is from Sitno or Dubno was white from the dust.

No I think the coloring job is way better than that. How can you tell where the tank wreck was?

Very nice photo. Certain Photo Atiliers did "photo retouching/colorization" back then. Here is a colored StuG/Sturmartillerie portrait from my collection that was already colored.
(might be hard to tell but the lips, ribbon bar, face, and hair are colored in lightly. ) Much more noticeable in hand too. His cheeks are red when seeing it in hand

Hi that's very interesting that this tank was photographed so often.

I know at least 10 photos of this tank. Your is 11.

Look, he has solid "white" color.

I have always thought this photo would look great colorized! it is of a decorated Enlisted man in a rare M44 tunic, Not many photos exist of this tunic type in wear!
Anyone care to have a go at it?
                      Best Regards!

I would like to show you how our friend Larrister colorized a photo for me. It shows some soldiers of the Italian Red Cross Military Corps training to carry a stretcher. On the stretcher there is a delighted Balilla (Member of the Fascist Youth). The photo was then published on the cover of my book. Thanks Larry!
