        I've started reading this topic some time ago, and I'm really anxious to give it a try myself, too.

        Now I was wondering, could someone give me some advice on the piping/colour of the collar tabs and it's base? As I'm not 'into' the World War II knowledge about waffenfarbe, I really need the advice ^^ Which would be logical, perhaps seen his awards?
        Or is it, as might be able to be seen by the crusher-piping (?) 'just' usual white?

        Here's the picture;

        Thanks in advance for any opinions!

              As said above, I was really anxious to try a colorization myself, too.

              So, as I did not yet have a good enough scan of my picture posted some posts before, I tried to colorize this one;

              And this is the result, my 'first try "ever"'!

              Please do share your opinions, tips etc. Please do keep in mind, I might have done some ribbon-colours wrong, I'm not a WWII-German collector, but a DDR/NVA one

              I do not own this picture myself, but found it some time ago on the internet, I believe. If the rightfull owner of this picture does NOT like it being posted here, let him or her contact me.
