It is regrettable that we do not know the exact name of "Schwester Berti". We do not have a

photo of her and we have no information about her further fate. Did she survive the war?

I am at the beginning of my research. I haven't read all in detail.
The last dedicace was issued in 01.12.1945 Frauenthal.

The date 1.12.1945 indicates that she survived the war.

In Frauenthal there is stil today a famous hospital named „Marienhospital“.

We do not know may be she was a nun ? The name "Berti" does not indicate that she was a nun. Nuns used to have othe names in my opinion.

May be in their hospital archive we could find her name.

Surely not a nun [Ordensschwester], but a nurse [Krankenschwester].

Apart from the name, note the dedication by the Red Cross nurse in post # 13, who addresses her as a "comrade" [Kameradin].
