    Favorite thread as always Bill, great additions.
    I acquired this photo from a new friend, and shows IMO another example of the LWFD transition to Heer. LW tunic, FD tabs, and Heer breast eagle. Any opinions welcome....and also, would this be a LW M41 tropical tunic?

      Rare photo ! Very interessant to see early Lw collar patches on such tunic with WH eagle.

        I would agree its an earlier photo, as the tunic turns out to be a 1st pattern Heer, not LW.....as it does not have the brown buttons/etc

                              I'm glad this came back to the top.

                              LWFD 2 is a great photograph, as are the others but for me it stands out for so many reasons.

                                Nice additions indeed. I am always glad to see those, in particular FD men with Fj. trousers like the two last photos.
