          Hello Bill, the aircraft in the two above photos is not a Bf109 but is British and perhaps a Hurricane. nice photos as usual!

              Thanks for the ID correction...obviously I'm not a aircraft expert as I should have done a bit of research before posting. I went by what was provided to me by the seller...my mistake. I should have ran it by my ex-Father-in-Law Group Captain John Jennings who was a RAF fighter pilot in WW2.

                              The reverse has some writing but most of was hidden by paper remains from being glued into a photo album. I scraped most of it off but it is still hard to read.
