Nice...evidence of when the LWFD's came under the control of the Army for training purposes as most LWFD's were taking a beating due to lack of training and equipment in Combat.

Right on Bill. I was hoping to find some LW insig/gear on the Heer troops, but still an interesting example.

And wow man, that is an excellent photo. Maybe 16. LwFd? Not an expert on bikes at all, but the one in middle looks like it could be an Elite Diamant, same maker who made k98 bayonets. Very nice image
