Here is my favourite, a recent trade with my cousin...

Awesome (I believe late war) photo!! Maybe it is just my vision, but it seems like SS insignia on that helmet worn by the guy points his finger... Also, in the back it looks like an American helmet on that guy all the way on the left...

I would love to find out where this photo was taken. Any suggestions?

Nice one.

They are horsing around with their helmets backwards. I think you are correct, the helmets in the back are American. Maybe Ardennes?

Hi Chris,

Thanks. When I saw these shots, I simply had to have them. Unfortunately, there's no writing on the reverse and so no way to know when, where or why these guys were clowning around. Though in the close up, our wishful thinker seems to be holding a wine bottle. So that may explain everything.

Well Akira, the guy is wearing a made up medal that gives the appearance of an RK. The guys are holding what appear to be wine bottles. So I feel they all got drunk and decided to have some fun at the one soldats expense. I don't know if they're from Infantrie Regiment 70 or not.
