Beautiful studioportrait, Jim. A Feldgendarmerie Spieß. What is the shiny thing at this chest?

Also many thanks for sharing these with us. Thought your Panzer photo is a small one.

Nice, but, even in this case I'm not sure the eagle is orange.

Congratulations to all, great pictures and very difficult to find, interesting double armband of the soldier Feldgendarmerie.

This is not the SS Feldgendarmerie photo I mentioned in post #74 (I'm currently working on that one), but this is still a nice SS FG PK photo...

Here is the SS Feldgendarmerie Studio Photo that I mentioned earlier.

The photo is absolutely perfect in regards to lighting and shading, the scanner used here making the photo appear a little darker then it actually is (I will not post the back of this photo).

I've got some "in the field" and studio Feldgendarmerie Hundefuhrer photos that would knock your paws off...unfortunately, due to copying issues, I will not be posting....

Looking forward to the continuation of this thread....

                              He looks like Schwarzy!

By the way, wasn't Schwarz dad attached to a Heer FG unit?

Here's a couple from my collection, ironically from an album belonging to a KM officer.

A pity the kettenhund is slightly obscured but the context is great. Dietl along with Ferdinand Jodl, then commander of the XIX Gebirgs Korps arriving at Kirkenes North Norway for wargames in May 1944.

I'll keep these low res but believe me at 1200 dpi the detail is stunning.
