You could also add "+ divisional cufftitle" to the five categories above (see the LAH FG officer in Nick's post #27).

Also - I suspect that the officer's visor in post #11 is piped in FG orange...and what is on the shoulder strap of the NCO (likely oberscharfuhrer) in the foreground of post #7?

Handschar MP's wore the Feldgendarm eagle ONLY!

Nick, you cannot be sure 100% of this from one picture only IMHO: just a couple of Handschar FG are known at the present day so, it's very likely that later they adopted also the SS eagle as any other WSS unit..

By the way, the fantasy cartoon you post is a heavy retouched, since in the original picture of the glasses man is not even a FG: notice how the Winkerkeller has the Eagle on it, while in most of the period pictures was without.

According to the SS Verordnungsblatt 1942, they SS adopted the Feldgendarmerie cufftitle and Polizei eagle on 1 Aug. 42. This doesn't mean all the units complied. In the SS verordnungsbatt 1944, the cufftitle and police eagle were discontinued on 1 Nov. 44 and only the gorget was to be used. Here again, it didn't mean all units complied.

A Heer Feldgendarm. Can anyone recognize the Uberschühe number? I think it is 212. Also just like the SS Feldgendarm he wears the Anschluss ribbon.

5. SS Arm eagle + Cufftitle + Divisional cufftitle
6. Feldgendarmerie Cufftitle

Notation: I don't mention the Feldgend. gorget on the list as this was standard.

@Jungco, thanks for your answer. Yes, I know that the rule was from 1942. Thought I didn't knew the cufftitle was disbanded also in 1944? Was this for protection rights? Do you could provide any scans from the mentioned sections.
