    Hi all,

    need some help with these. Photos belonged to a Luftwaffe soldier. Most are in France 1940.

          Thanks, the one you point out near Lutsk isn't the correct one, but a town with the exact same name near Tscherkassy is. (his unit was around that place at that time).
          I was able to find the following so far (all near Tscherkassy-Uman):

          * 16: Uljaniki (Ulyanyky)
          * 17: Uljaniki (Ulyanyky)
          * 18: Uljaniki (Ulyanyky)
          * 19: Rozkoshivka
          * 20: Höhe 241,9
          * 21: Buki (Buky)
          * 22: Kratschkowka (Krachkivka ??)
          * 23:
          * 24: Tobali ??

          But i still need help with number 23 and 24
          I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
          Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

                    I was just about to write to say I thought it might be Topaly as well. approx. 40km due south of Abamelekovo. Is that the one you saw.
                    They were there almost a week after Abamelekove so on roads or tracks that's about 10km a day so I think its possible. The sound similar when you say them.
