I picked up some aerial recon photos taken around the Sevastopol area, but can only make out a few words handwritten on the back. Not sure if anyone else can read his writing, but any translation help is appreciated.
    Thanks

I revise my reading and I agree with Uwe: Anton Pietruschka

I found more than 60 entries "Pietruschka" in the Volksbund list but not even one soldier

                    named "Pintruschka".

Asking for you help on period photo!

Hi, can someone try to read the caption on the sign on the back table.
Its related to the gold for iron program in New York during 1914-15.
There are lines easy to read but others I dont quite make it out.

                        Sammelstelle
                        2nd line lost for me
                        Deustche Historische Gesellschaft???
                        4th line lost to me
                        Gold fur eisen
                        6th line lost for me
                        Krieg... ring?
the rest lines are lost, too small to read.
I included the original photo that appeared on a Technical World magazine in 1914, and some editing that might help.
Im interested and doing some research on the gold for iron program in the US during the first years of the great war.
                        Your help will be appreciated.
                        Thank you

Difficult but I will try to start:

2nd line: I agree "Deutsche Historische Gesellschaft"

                            6th line: absolutely lost

7th line: I agree too "Kriegs... Ring"
