    # 476 no 3

This letter, dated 18. Dec 1975, is a letter of condolence, dealing with the passing away of Irene's mother who had passed away short time before.
It is a letter full of sympathies and comfort and about Irenes' situation now after the death of her mother and her feelings and they way she is dealing with her emotions.

      translation needed!

This is a section of a DAF bok belonging to a 26 year old Karl Fuller who was assigned to a bomber training group at Kitzingen in 1936. He worked as a civilian until 1939 and then there were no more work entries. I'm assuming that he was sent with his unit to Poland.

This lttle section I can not read.

      I see = XX: something 40.

I need a bit of help here. This is a page of one of my soldbücher and I am unable to decipher the lower text even though the writing is quite clear.

I guess it means something like:

"Berechtigt zum Empfang der Heimat xxxxx der 10. xxxxx"

Maybe some of the experts can make it out, thanks in advance for the effort!

"Berechtigt zum Empfang d(es) Heimatpaketes der 10. Armee"

"Heimatpaket" was a parcel with special things (to eat or drink) as a special gift for the soldier - like the Führerpaket.

It could be "Wiesenstr.", the name of a street

Yes that makes sense - thanks a lot Gerdan!
