Here is info about him https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnold_Weiss-R%C3%BCthel

Thank you, do you think this document is actually from the camp or was typed after the war? I only ask because he signed it Sachsenhausen September 1944 under his name.

Again, thank you very much for this great information!

Or, both words should be inserted that would change "sweet" to "clear mild"). It could be either. There are also other marks and the page numbers in pencil. This leads me to believe the copy could be intended for a reading. Maybe Grete was the reader for the broadcast or at another presentation of the poems.
Very interesting! These are the two other documents I have that came with it.Attached Files

Here's more info about the author from a book on German mass media 1945-1949. In 1947 he became head of Radio Munich's drama department and as such was charge of the station's radioplays, literary and entertainment programs. https://books.google.com/books?id=dK...listen&f=falseLast edited by paulj; 10-02-2016, 01:26 PM.

trans
The first one is "application with 3 enclosures to be handled by Kreisleitung (local Party office) in Munich". The second handwritten is "Ortsguppenleiter" and "Ortsgr(uppe) Munich ----- "just like the lower wording on the stamped seal and the street address. The third is "in bronze and silver for 10 and 15 years active membership." The other document is "Oberleutnant Gatzendorf, Airbase Lower Danube."

A general idea of what is discussed in this letter would be appreciated. this may be to difficult to read. The letter is from Karl an FJ who served on Kreta and the letter is to his parents. Anything of this service on Kreta or his military action if mentioned would be of interest. thanks for any help regards graeme
