I am not sure if it is right but I think this is what it reads.

In general Jim's Militaria has translated the text correct. One part I read different:

"...Schildaushang d. A.R.V. "Gleichheit"....".

The letter " d. " should say "des" A.R.V. (V.) certainly means Verein/club. But we du not know the

abbreviated name of Club.

"Schildaushang" means hanging up a sign/label. But we do not know which saign they meant 1926

but they made a feast on the day doing this and they awarded prizes.

The ribbon you shows is given for the 2nd prize for foreigners ("Fernpreis")

Kemmelbach is today part of the town "Neumarkt an der Ybbs" (Austria). Kemmelbach today has

about 400 inhabitants.

Difficult to read, can only identfy the last part of the blue entry:

"......dienst befreit, nur für leichte Arbeit verwendbar!" - "...exemted from ...service only usable

for light labour! "

Thanks for your help.. I would be surprised though if it was a 'sickness' such as Bauchödem, as he received the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz for it. Unfortunately the letters may not be entirely readable as another page was pasted partly over them.

I don't think that he was awarded with the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz for his Bauchödem.

There must have been other wounds before or after the 13.5.40.

Hi Gerdan, well if you read the same, I'm sure Gran Sasso's ID of the word was correct. Still strange, as he was awarded the VWA in July 1940, there are no previous entries, the next entry (linksseitige...) is a sickness (pneumonia) during winter 1940-1941, and the first wound is during the Russian campaign in 1941.

Here's another one I have trouble with.. a list of 1944 Sturmtagen.
1 - Albert-Kanal
2 - Could be Berghaven?
3 - ??
4 - Berg
5+6 - ... intelen ??
