      2) " Das Fahrzeug ist bewinkelt. Kiel d.(en) 13.11.42. Der Polizei-Präsident, Kiel, i. A. Marten "

The vehicle has an angle. During ww2 all private vehicles had to have a red angle to

show that the owner is allowed to drive with his car during the war.

Any help ID'ing the names in this Wedding Edition Mein Kampf? Is that a signature at the bottom or the name of a place?

Not so easy but I will try it:

The two names of the bridal couple: Burghardt - Gölle (?)

The name of the town: Berterode (?)

                        http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernterode

The last entry is the signature of the mayor: Degenhardt (?)

You've just given me more info to work with than anyone I've shown it to in 20 years so big thanks - beggars can't be choosers!

P.S. can you tell if that's male or female handwriting? The script is almost hypnotizing if you stare at the hi-res long enough (and I have). I guess it'd have to be male if the mayor wrote it out...

As the signature of the mayor is the same handwriting as the other script I think it is made by

himself. In those years only men were mayors.

I you have a look a google "Bernterode" and "Degenhardt" you will find still today results.

The family of the mayor could still be living there.

                              Certificate of Nationality...

I have done my best with this WWII Certificate of Nationality... but I cannot figure out the name of the person from Hamburg nor the personal handwritten notes in the center which are of particular interest to me. Thanks for any help.... DP

The name: " Gisela Eugenie Elisabeth MICHEL, Hamburg ", born 21. April 1921 in Hamburg.

The other handwritten text: " " ...durch Eingliederung der Ostgebiete in das Großdeutsche

                                Reich "
