From what I can read, he rode his bike somewhere he wasn't supposed to...can't make out exactly where. And 1 day in jail!

no rear light and going someplace he shouldn't, for that he gets a day in jail?sounds like maybe he saw something he shouldn't have seen. i mean if it was just no rear light, i'd have understood the fine, but a day in jail? hmmm makes me wonder.

He should only go to jail if he would n o t pay the fine. This was normal, just to give some pressure on people to pay their fine.
