This unit was fighting against big groups of partisans.

The missing word could be "Schemel", but I am not sure at all.

Can someone tell me the significance (or insignificance) of the writting in red on this page is.
Looks like it is over the top of a issue for a 7.65 pistol.
Is it just the pistol being returned, or something else ?

A corporal is a military rank, equivalent to NATO Rank Code OR-4. The literal translation of „Korporalschaft“ is something like „corporalship“, the whole of the corporals of a military unit (regiment, battalion, or company …).
