Two new arrivals in the post today.....HG Panzer Oberfeldwebel at a Italian carnival shooting gallery with Italian soldiers looking on....date of photo is 19.4.1944
Great shots those last two W Petz! Interesting to see that some italian RSI soldiers still wore the Star of Savoy instead of the Gladio on their collars in 1944.
The last two shots seem to show the panzer skulls worn without tabs, which is pretty uncommon (at least it's hard to find photos, especially studio portraits, with that combination)...
You'll find HG wrappers with no tabs, skulls only pinned to the collar, white piped Panzer tabs with skulls, pink piped Panzer tabs with skulls, all white tabs with gulls and all white tabs with skulls. Many accepted and diverse ways of displaying collar insignia, probably more than any other garment.
