                              Great update Bill!

                              I did notice the lack of cuffbands, even on the NCO's.

                              I think this was quite normal for greatcoats (rarely, if ever seen on them I believe). Regarding the greatcoats I think the pictures could be dated to October 1942 or earlier as the collar tabs were dropped on greatcoats at this date I believe.

                              In post #1367 it looks like one soldier might be wearing a Heer overcoat with a Luftwaffe schiffchen cap?

                              Some fliegerblusen without eagles (and with piped collars) in post #1366, so perhaps these are prior to October 1940 when the eagle was required to be worn on the fliegerbluse (also Der Spiess in #1372) though I think this persisted after that date sometimes as I've seen this practice in later dated pictures.

                              Also in post #1378 (above) no breast eagle is worn on a 4 pocket tunic which I think is unusual?
